A standardised Milk thistle extract is used, containing minimum 75% Silymarin – a flavonoid with established favourable effect on the liver (regenerating, detoxing, hepatoprotective and anti-inflammatory action). The milk thistle extract contributes to stabilising the cell membrane and improving the activity of the detoxication and antioxidant system of the liver. It helps the protection of the undamaged hepatocytes and the increase in their resistance. It is widely used in complex detoxication procedures.  One of the key functions of SAM-e is to maintain the normal liver function and the overall body detoxication. SAM-e supports the liver synthesis of the antioxidant glutathione which on its part, stimulates detoxication, thus maintaining the normal levels of liver enzymes. SAM-e is an appropriate addition during detoxication therapy to give up alcohol and drugs.
