Sintuss® oral drops is a medicinal product suitable in the symptomatic treatment of dry, unproductive cough of different origin. It exerts central antitussive effect and has nonspecific peripheral anticholinergic and bronchospasmolytic effect that increases also from a certain anti-inflammatory action. This product contains no sugar.
Butamirate citrate
5 mg / 1 ml (28 drops)
The drops are administered through the mouth, and they may be placed in advance in a small amount of liquid.
The usual dose is as follows:
| Age group | Daily dose |
| Children 2 months to 1 year of age | 4 times daily х 14 drops |
| Children 1 to 3 years of age | 4 times daily х 21 drops |
| Children over the age of 3 years | 4 times daily х 35 drops |
In children below 2 years of age this medicine may be given upon medical prescription only!
