Indication:

Meloxicam DS contains an active substance known as meloxicam. Meloxicam belongs to a group of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used to reduce inflammation, fever and pain. Meloxicam DS is used in adult patients for short term treatment of inflammatory rheumatic diseases, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterev’s disease) when oral administration of drugs is not possible.

Аctive substances:

Each ampoule of 1,5 ml solution for injection contains the active substance meloxicam 15 mg.

Dosage and method of administration:

Meloxicam DS solution for injection is administered by deep intramuscular route once daily x 15 mg. Injection should be made by a health professional only.
DO NOT EXCEED THE DOSE OF 15 mg/day.
Treatment is usually limited to one injection at the start of treatment, with maximum treatment duration of 2 to 3 days in particular cases (e.g. when the use of oral or rectal drugs is not possible).
