Viruprinol® contains inosine acedoben dimepranol, a synthetic purine derivative with immunomodulatory and antiviral properties leading to increased immune response of the body.
This product is indicated for children over the age of 1 year, adults and elderly patients:
As immunomodulator in suppressed or impaired cellural immunity or for treatment or influencing the clinical symptoms in viral infections such as:
- Flu and viral infections affecting the upper respiratory tract
- Herpes simplex and herpes zoster
- Viral hepatitis
- Infectious diseases(rubella, varicella, measles, mumps, flu)
- Viral upper respiratory tract infections
- Cytomegalovirus infection
- Infectious mononucleosis
- Аphthous stomatitis
- Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis
In the complex therapy of papilloma virus infections (condylomata acuminata)
1 ml syrup contains 50 mg Inosine acedoben dimepranol
Adults and individuals above the age of 65 years
The usual daily dose is 50 mg/kg body weight (usually 1 ml per 1 kg body weight). Do not take a daily dose exceeding 4 g.
Children over 1 year of age
The usual daily dose is 50 mg/kg body weight (usually 1 ml per 1 kg body weight). To facilitate drug dosage, use the table below:

| 15 – 20 kg | 3 x 5 – 7,5 ml |
| 21 – 30 kg | 3 x 7.5 – 10 ml |
| 31 – 40 kg | 3 x 10 – 15 ml |
| 41 – 50 kg | 3 x 15 – 17,5 ml |
Take the syrup by mouth using the measuring spoon in the pack. A full measuring spoon contains 5 ml syrup.
The defined daily dose is administered in several (usually 3 – 4) equal doses during the waking hours.
